Visa Rules: The Ministry of Home Affairs has relaxed the visa regulations. Under which, by amending the Corona Guidelines, people coming from abroad have been allowed to come to India.

new Delhi. The Ministry of Home Affairs has relaxed the visa regulations. Under which, by amending the Corona Guidelines, people coming from abroad have been allowed to come to India. All Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Person of India Origin (PIO) card-holders and all other foreign nationals have been allowed to visit India.

The ministry said that the government allows all OCI, PIO card holders and other foreign nationals to visit India for any purpose, except tourist visas. They can enter the country by air or water routes through authorized airports and seaport immigration check posts.

The government has decided to reinstate all existing visas except electronic visas, tourist visas and medical visas with immediate effect. If the validity of such visas has expired, fresh visas of appropriate categories can be obtained from the Indian Mission or related posts.

The corona epidemic in the country and the world is not over yet. In such a situation, all passengers must strictly follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The government has also said that if the validity of such visas has expired, new visas of appropriate categories can be obtained from the Indian Mission / Posts.

Significantly, due to Corona epidemic in the country, the Government of India had banned the movement of international passengers from February 2020. Which is now slowly being opened.
