You may have heard of marketing internships in Chicago, but you probably don’t know that they exist here. Marketing internships are generally short-term jobs that pay anywhere from $12-$24/hr and are open to people who are recent graduates with a minimum of two years’ experience at one of the top-tier advertising agencies in the country.

You’re a marketing intern for a top-tier advertising agency. You’ll be working on the marketing materials for a particular campaign that is a long-term project. You might be working to improve your portfolio or to polish your skills to be successful in your internship. You’ll also hopefully be able to find a job that fits within your major, such as communications, public relations, or advertising.

I don’t know exactly what you hope to accomplish within the internship, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this internship. If you are interested in this position, or any other internship opportunity that involves advertising and creative or communications work, you should apply as soon as possible.

In the summer of 2016, I interned for three weeks as an intern for the marketing team at the Chicago office of the American Express Company. What you are likely to be doing for the internship is, I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, working on the marketing department’s websites. This internship allowed me to learn about the internal workings of the marketing department by working with the team’s various departments.

A lot of the junior managers in marketing will probably know you probably weren’t going to be doing any internships during your summer, but it was a great experience learning more about what it means to work at a large company. A lot of the internships that were offered at the company were not necessarily for fun, but were for learning, so the fact that you had the opportunity to spend some summer working would have been a big plus.

The summer internships were only offered to a limited number of junior managers, and as a result were offered in a very limited number of cities. It would be hard to say that this was a bad decision, but it might have been a better idea to stick to your original goal of finding internships in your field of study.

I would definitely recommend sticking to your original goal of interning in your field.

I see you’ve already worked an internship in Chicago, but I’ve also heard that the City of Chicago has a really competitive internship market. This is something that I would recommend to any junior manager looking to get a summer internship.

I have no idea if this internship was truly competitive, but the City of Chicago is definitely a great city to get an internship in. Chicago is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and is a city full of young, talented people.
