The following tips will work for all webpage types:

Blog platform, HTML website, or WordPress blog. I’m not going to focus much on websites with too much content because it becomes difficult to reach the right people. I personally like to stick with one-pages for my sites (and even use micro sites) when growing them in terms of functionality.

Tips For Making A Successful Site

Here are some basic tips that will help boost your site’s ranking for both search engines and visitors that will find your site on the web.

These tips are based on experience more than anything, so follow them at your own risk!

1.) Don’t create pages on your blog for anything more than 1,000 words or so.

2. ) Use images of your own for the content. These images will be tagged and help your site gain unique keywords that you would not be able to do with just text.

3. ) Be sure to have good descriptions when uploading any images to the site. These are used in search engine results, so keep them short and sweet because there are plenty of pages out there to compete with!

Try not to duplicate

4.) Try not to duplicate too much content when posting on your blog or when creating new pages on the website. Google doesn’t like it, so don’t give them a reason not to rank you in their search engines.

5.) Make sure you have plenty of tags available when posting anything new on the blog platform pages or within your actual site. It helps in the keywords for search engines, but also gives your customers another way to find you when searching for content.

6.) Create a blog with the hopes of it being listed on other blogs. This will help bring in readers when their readers are searching through blog posts.

7.) Don’t worry much about site structure at the beginning, but don’t leave it too messy either! You can always organize it later if you need to.

Google analytics

8.) Make sure that your URLs are organized when posting things on your website or blog pages. It helps with optimization and allows easier viewing of important information that might need to be seen by visitors who land on the page through search engine results.

9. ) Try to use Google analytics for your website so you can track your visitors and potential customers! You can also use some of the free social media tools that are available online to see how people are interacting with your site. This helps in deciding how to improve upon the current pages of content on your website.

10.) Create good titles for every page on the site. It’s one of the first things people see when searching for particular information, so make sure they search for whatever keyword phrases will help bring relevant traffic to the site.

Use meta tags

11.) Use meta tags when posting blog or webpage content because it really helps with search engine optimization. If you don’t know how to do it, ask someone who knows and can show you. It will help your website better compete with other websites that are ranking at the top of search engines.

12.) Don’t be scared to share posts on your Facebook, Google+, and other social media websites. Be sure to include a link back to your site so readers can check out the other pages on the blog or website.

13.) Try not to have too many keywords in your page content, but don’t leave them all out either! You should have similar page content throughout so visitors notice it when viewing different webpage types.

14.) Try not to use too many photos within the webpage content because Google likes words more than images when it comes down to ranking higher in their search engines.

Include a link back

15.) Be sure to include a link back to your homepage from any new page you create. This will help bring in more visitors from the search engines to the homepage where they can see what else you have available on the site.

16.) Make sure that your website is easy to navigate through. You don’t want people getting lost or confused!

17.) Try not to use too many videos on your website unless it is for a specific purpose. Google is still working out how they rank Youtube videos for ranking, so leaving them embedded is a good thing if they don’t provide much value otherwise!

18.) Do a keyword research report for your most popular pages and posts on the website or blog pages.
